Our Story

The distortion of Indian history by Western civilizations, from colonial times to modern academia, has led to a Eurocentric perspective that oversimplifies, misinterprets, and even erases indigenous narratives and perspectives. Selective focus on events that align with Western agendas and the imposition of foreign frameworks onto Indian history have perpetuated stereotypes and biases, undermining the true depth and complexity of India's cultural heritage. 
Bharat Odyssey is an attempt to study, understand and present the story of Bharat as it is, centered on indigenous voices and narratives, promoting intellectual pluralism and a more accurate understanding of India's past and present.
